Khowai District Youth Affairs & Sports Department Accorded A Warm Farewell To Kamlendu Shil.

Khowai, Tripura, 6th of August, 2026 : With the initiative of the physical education teachers of Khowai district and the colleagues of the Khowai District Youth Affairs and Sports Department organized a farewell-cum-felicitation programme at Khowai, Tripura on Wednesday (5th August, 2026). A farewell-cum-felicitation programme was organized to honour Officer Kamlendu Shil on the occasion of his transfer

Transferred officer Kamlendu Shil was felicitated with bouquets and mementos during the programme. The chief guest, social activist Samir Kumar Das, also honoured him by presenting a traditional uttariya (ceremonial stole) and a bouquet as a mark of respect and appreciation.

Addressing at the event Kamlendu Shil said that he had assumed charge in Khowai on December 26, 2022, and had served in the district for three years and seven months. Reflecting on his tenure, he expressed gratitude for the support and cooperation he received from colleagues and well-wishers. He also conveyed his confidence that the newly appointed officer would further strengthen and elevate Khowai district’s sporting culture and take it to greater heights.

Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were Social activist Samir Kumar Das, newly appointed officer of the department Dibakar Debnath, retired physical education teacher Bishnupada Chakraborty, physical education teacher Biswajit Deb Sarkar, physical education teachers of Khowai district  and many other distinguished dignitaries were present at the event.
