Agartala, Tripura, 14th of August, 2026 : Agartala Press Club member and photojournalist Bijoy Debnath’s father and former Chairman of the All Tripura Blind Committee Brajahari Debnath passed away at Govind Ballabh Pant (GBP) Hospital in Agartala on Thursday (13th August, 2026) at around 12:30 pm.
He was 79 years old at the time of his death. He had been suffering from illness for the past few days.
He is survived by two sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, and a large number of relatives and well-wishers.
