Agartala, Tripura, 15th of August 2026 : As part of the celebrations of the 80th Independence Day, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha this morning hoisted the national flag at his official residence. He was greeted by the police personnel there and the national anthem was sung.
Afterwards speaking to the media the Chief Minister said, this day is a very special day for all of us. A number of programmes are lined up as part of the Independence Day celebrations. Apart from Har Ghar Tiranga being celebrated from August 9-17, various programmes have been taken up to remember the freedom fighters, present and ignite the national and patriotic feeling to the new generation. The Chief Minister has conveyed his best wishes and greetings to the people of the state on this occasion.
