Dharmanagar Hosts Colorful ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Rally.

Dharmanagar, Tripura, 17th of August, 2026 : A colorful Tiranga Rally was organized in Dharmanagar under the district-level ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ programme, highlighting the messages of patriotism, national unity, and respect for the National Flag.

The rally was jointly organized by the North Tripura District Administration, the Department of Information and Cultural Affairs, and the Dharmanagar Municipal Council. People from various sections of society participated enthusiastically, carrying the National Flag in their hands. The rally route resonated with slogans of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’, reflecting love for the nation and the spirit of a united India.

Artists from various cultural organizations, students from different schools, teachers, and members of the general public took part in the programme. The event witnessed considerable enthusiasm among the participants.

Tripura’s Industries and Commerce Minister Santana Chakma, Dharmanagar MLA Jahar Chakraborty, North Tripura Zilla Parishad Sabhadhipati Aparna Nath, Dharmanagar Municipal Council Chairperson Mitali Das Sen, and North Tripura District Magistrate Chandni Chandran were among those present. Several senior administrative officials, cultural personalities, teachers, students, and local residents also attended the programme.

The speakers said that the National Flag is not merely a symbol to be carried in one’s hands; its dignity and values must also be reflected in people’s hearts, thoughts, and actions. They called for strengthening the spirit of patriotism, brotherhood, and national unity.

The district-level Tiranga Rally not only evoked a strong sense of patriotism among the people but also conveyed the message of respect for the National Flag and the importance of national unity and integrity to the younger generation.
