Sabroom, Tripura, 21st of August, 2026 : A mysterious death of a homemaker in Ward No. 2 of East Harina under Sabroom Subdivision has sparked concern in the area. The deceased has been identified as the wife of Ranjit Sutradhar.

The family claimed that the husband and wife had been sleeping in the same room on Thursday (19th August, 2026) night. At around 8:30 a.m., Ranjit Sutradhar woke up and found his wife lying burnt in an adjacent room. The husband claimed that his wife had died by suicide.

However, the claim has raised several serious questions. How did such an incident occur in an adjacent room of the same house without the husband noticing? Why did he reportedly not notice any smoke, smell, sound, or other unusual signs when the fire broke out?
