Under The ‘Seva Setu Abhiyan’, Camps Will Be Organised At The Block Level For 15 Days To Connect Eligible Beneficiaries Who Have Been Left Out Of Schemes Such As Ayushman Bharat And Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi With Government Welfare Schemes.

New Delhi, Delhi, 22nd of August, 2026 : Bharatiya Janata Party National General Secretary Shri Vinod Tawde, while addressing the media on Saturday, shared key details about the first meeting of the National Office Bearers held after the formation of the BJP’s new team, as well as the workshop organised regarding the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’. He said that the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ will be conducted across the country from September 17 to October 17 with the objective of taking the spirit of service demonstrated by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji during his 25 years of public life to every section of society. Under the campaign, various service activities, programmes to connect beneficiaries with government schemes, and initiatives to engage youth in service and innovation will be organised.

Shri Tawde  stated  that the first meeting of the National Office Bearers was held today following the formation of the BJP’s new team. Thereafter, a workshop was also organised for all State Presidents, Organisation General Secretaries, and teams of seven to eight karyakartas selected from each state for the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’. The party is making extensive preparations to effectively take the campaign across the country and reach it down to the booth level.

Bharatiya Janata Party National General Secretary stated that every year, on September 17, the Bharatiya Janata Party organises ‘Seva Pakhwada’ across the country on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji. The personality of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has always been closely associated with the spirit of service, and therefore, the party has been organising various service activities on the occasion of his birth anniversary for the past several years. This year marks a special occasion, as Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji took oath as the Chief Minister of Gujarat on October 7, 2001, and on the upcoming October 7, 25 years will be completed since this important milestone in his public life. In view of this, the Bharatiya Janata Party has decided to organise a month-long ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ across the country.

The BJP National General Secretary stated that various programmes will be organised during the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ with the objective of taking the spirit of service of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji to every section of society. Under the campaign, mothers and sisters working in Anganwadis will be honoured, and ‘Matri Samvad’ programmes will be organised with them. While the government formulates various schemes, Anganwadi workers play an important role at the grassroots level in ensuring the nutrition and care of children. BJP karyakartas will reach more than 1.4 million Anganwadi centres across the country and honour the Anganwadi workers who are working with a spirit of service.

Shri Vinod Tawde asserted that an important programme titled ‘Seva Mein Mera Yogdan’ will also be organised. Through this initiative, particularly youth and citizens will be encouraged to create reels showcasing the service activities undertaken during the campaign and make them a source of inspiration for others. Service activities such as cleanliness drives, tree plantation, and identifying TB patients under the TB eradication campaign and connecting them with government schemes will be highlighted through creative mediums. The reels created by the youth will be disseminated at the district and state levels so that more and more people are inspired to undertake service activities.

The BJP National General Secretary stated that through the ‘Seva Setu Abhiyan’, it will be ensured that no eligible person is deprived of the benefits of public welfare schemes launched during the tenure of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji due to their exclusion. For this purpose, camps of the concerned departments will be organised at the block level for 15 days. If the name of any eligible person has been left out of schemes such as Ayushman Bharat or the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, they will be able to visit these camps, fill out the required forms, and enrol themselves in the respective scheme. In this manner, the ‘Seva Setu Abhiyan’ will serve as an effective bridge between the government’s schemes and their actual beneficiaries.

Shri Vinod Tawde stated that a ‘National Innovation Challenge’ will also be organised to encourage the talent and innovative potential of the youth. Under this initiative, youth will be made aware of the problems in their local areas and will be given an opportunity to present solutions through research and innovation. The competition will be organised at the block, district, and state levels, enabling creative and innovative solutions to local problems to emerge at the local level.

The BJP National General Secretary asserted that the national-level workshop has been completed today. State-level workshops will be organised by August 31, followed by the completion of district- and block-level workshops over the next five to seven days. The ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ will commence on September 17 and continue until October 17. Bharatiya Janata Party karyakartas will work to successfully take the campaign to the booth level across the country and engage as many people as possible in service activities.
