Mumbai, Maharashtra, 27th of August, 2026 : When a story that begins with love, waiting and the emotions of relationships suddenly turns into a dangerous battle for survival, the excitement naturally reaches another level. Actor-turned-producer Rohit Rajawat’s Hindi film ‘Dear Husband’ promises to bring audiences an intriguing and gripping tale. Produced under the banner of Shooting Sense, the thriller’s exciting trailer was launched in Mumbai. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on September 25, 2026. Directed by Dharmendra Kumar, the film has been written by Ajit Goswami, who has also penned the screenplay and dialogues.

One of the film’s biggest highlights is its challenging shooting experience. Several crucial sequences were filmed at night in Tikri Forest in Mankapur, Gonda district, around 30 kilometres from Ayodhya, amid the presence of snakes and scorpions. Actor Satish Tripathi, who plays an inspector in the film, said, “The shoot was extremely challenging. We worked in the forest with the constant danger of snakes and scorpions. Every night, the lights would suddenly go off around 2–2:30 a.m. The entire journey was filled with thrill and adventure, making it a memorable experience.”

Producer and actor Rohit Rajawat said, “This is my first film. The story is different, and my character is also quite unconventional. The entire team is from Uttar Pradesh, and the new actors got an opportunity to learn the finer nuances of acting. I hope audiences enjoy the film.”

Director Dharmendra Kumar revealed, “We had to work day and night to complete the film. It is the story of a lover who struggles through difficult circumstances to preserve a precious memento of his beloved.”

Writer and actor Ajit Goswami added, “A simple village boy gets trapped in strange circumstances among people involved in robbery. It is a survival story packed with emotion, drama, action and plenty of thrills.” He further revealed that during the 30-day shoot, the team managed to sleep for only around 60 hours in total.

The film features Purnima Sharma, Bishwajeet Maiti and other actors in important roles. The music has been composed by Rohit Dubey, Jai Mehta, Devarath Sharma and Abhay Tyagi. Three songs from the film—a Holi song, ‘Kho Jana’ and ‘Rang Tera’—were among the highlights of the trailer launch event.
