Amarpur, Tripura, 28th of August 2026 : Based on secret information a police team from Debdaru O.P under Baikhura police station has raided a shop situated in MLA Para under Julai Bari block in Shantir Bazar subdivision and recovered 3000 fake Indian currency, total six five hundred notes from the shop keeper namely Babul Mog. Under the supervision of Debdaru O.P O.C B.J Reang the police team has seized the currency and arrested the shop keeper Babul Mog who is affiliated with this fake currency business.

As per the report, these fake currency notes have been brought from Assam. Sources said that there are some additional persons also are engaged with this outlaw tendency. Police sources said a case has been filed over this incident bearing case no- 23/2023, section-179/180 BNS. The police officials said that strict investigation is going on to nab the rest criminals who are connected with this fake currency changer and shortly they will be arrested ahead.
