Ampi School Inspectorate Observed 65th Teacher’s Day 2026.                                                   

Amarpur, Tripura, 5th of September, 2026 : With the joint initiative of state & TTAADC inspectorate of Ampi Nagar block 65th Teacher’s Day programme 2026 has been conducted here in Tuidu community hall under Ampi Nagar block in Gomati Tripura today.

On this auspicious occasion a large number of dignitaries, students and teachers from both state and TTAADC have assembled here in the programme venue and took active participation in the celebration. In presence of many dignitaries Hamani Bhagya Jamatia, Asst. professor,  has inaugurated the event. The concerned I.S authorities (state & TTAADC) have felicitated the recently retired teachers and school inspectorates with due respect and dignity. Some schools under the said school inspectorates have been felicitated for their better academic performance as punctuality, cleanliness and better school management. 

The Asst.H.M of Ampi Nagar H/S school Mr. Sukesh Kalai has addressed the gathering over the significance of the event. Targeting to the student participants of the programme he said, “Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was a great Indian philosopher, teacher, scholar and statesman. He was born on 5th September 1888 in Tiruttani, Tamil Nadu. He was one of the most respected teachers and thinkers of India. Dr. Radhakrishnan was highly educated and became a professor of philosophy. He believed that education is very important for the development of a person and a nation. He devoted much of his life to teaching and spreading knowledge. He served as the first Vice-President of India and later became the second President of India in 1962. He was awarded the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian award, in 1954. His birthday, 5th September, is celebrated every year as Teacher’s Day in India. When his students wanted to celebrate his birthday, he suggested that it should instead be observed as a day to honour all teachers. Dr. Radhakrishnan passed away on 17th April 1975. He will always be remembered for his contribution to education, philosophy and the nation. He is an inspiration to students and teachers alike. To make the event fascinating school students have presented charming indigenous traditional cultural programme segments.

Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were Durgahari Jamatia, I.S, (state) Matarai Jamatia, Dy. I.S, (state), Chayanath Chakma, I.S, (TTAADC), Anand Jamatia, Dy. I.S, (TTAADC), Shib Sadhan Jamatia, Dy. I.S, (TTAADC), Nanda Kr. Kalai, vice principal, Paritosh Paul, programme organizer and many others remained present in the programme.
