Khowai, Tripura, 11th of September, 2026 : ‘Kalpana Eye Clinic’ was officially inaugurated in Khowai town on Thursday (10th September, 2026), marking a new addition to the town’s healthcare services.
In the presence ofmany distinguished dignitaries Hon’ble Chief Whip of the Tripura Legislative Assembly, Kalyani Saha Roy inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial Lamp.

At the programme, she said that eyesight is one of the most important assets in a person’s life. She appreciated the initiative to provide quality eye care services to the people of Khowai.
The inaugural programme was attended by social activist Samir Kumar Das, Municipal Council Chairperson Debashish Nath Sharma, Piyush Kanti Chowdhury, Councillor Barnali Deb Das, clinic owner Kalpana Gupta, and other distinguished guests were present at the event.
Those present expressed hope that the new establishment will play an important role in providing accessible and quality eye care services to the people of Khowai.
