Teliamura, Tripura, 11th of September, 2026 : Jamiat Demands Justice for Jalilur Rahman and Seven members meets family, Submits Deputation to Police on Friday (11th September, 2026).
The Tripura State Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind has expressed concern over the death of Jalilur Rahman of Ghilatali Bazar. A seven-member delegation reached his residence, met the bereaved family and collected detailed information regarding the incident.
During the visit, the delegation interacted with Jalilur Rahman’s family members for an extended period and gathered details about the incident. Information was also sought from his father and other relatives regarding the circumstances surrounding his death and the events preceding it.
Following this, a deputation was submitted to the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kalyanpur Police Station, demanding the immediate arrest of those involved in the incident and a fair investigation. The Jamiat demanded that all those involved be identified through a proper investigation and brought under the law at the earliest.
The Jamiat delegation included Tripura State Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind President Mufti Taiyibur Rahman, noted social worker Chan Mia, and others. The death of Jalilur Rahman has already raised several questions and sparked discussions in the area. Attention is now focused on the progress of the investigation and the police’s next course of action.
