Khowai, Tripura, 15th of September, 2026 : According to the details of the incident, the accident occurred on Monday (14th September, 2026) afternoon when two persons were travelling towards Khowai on a motorcycle. A motorcycle coming from the opposite direction at a reckless speed collided with their bike, leaving both riders seriously injured. After witnessing the accident, local residents immediately informed the Khowai Fire and Emergency Services Department
Fire and Emergency Services personnel immediately rescued the two injured persons and shifted them to Khowai District Hospital. They were identified as Ramani Debbarma and Ukendra Debbarma. Both are currently undergoing treatment at the hospital. Fire service personnel said that one of the injured persons had suffered a fracture to a toe.
Meanwhile, people from various sections of society expressed concern over the frequent occurrence of road accidents in Khowai and urged the authorities to take appropriate measures to prevent such incidents.
