Amarpur, Tripura, 24th of September 2026 : The police officials of Debdaru O.P have obtained an appreciable achievement over illegal F.L seizure on Wednesday (23rd September, 2026).
After availing secret information over illegal wine business promptness O.P police came into action. Under the supervision of O.P O.C Bakuljoy Reang a police team including CAPF personnel have raided at 1730 hours in East Pilak ADC village under Baikhora PS in Shantir Bazar, South Tripura and recovered 100 nos of varities types of foreign liquor without any legal documents.
The police has raided interior Sudhira Ranjan Tripura (35) S/O Lt. Laxmidhan Tripura and found this illegal store of foreign liquor in his residence. The police officials have nabbed the house owner for affiliation with illegal foreign liquor business. He was arrested as per U/S-69 TE Act. Charge sheet as per U/S-45 TE Act will be submitted against him. The market values of the wines approximately 15000 to 20,000/-.
