Amarpur, Tripura, 28th of September 2026 : The Village Committee Election 2026 has been accomplished peacefully here in Ampi nagar RD block in Gomati Tripura on Monday (28th September, 2026). Through the proper tight security management the vote casting session was normal without any kind of violation.
As per the report, local voters were gathering in polling stations since 7 am and it has been ended about 5 pm. According to the official report, Ampi RD block has 22 VCs and election has been held in 18 VCs. 4 VCs were uncontested status which are already been captured the TMP organization. Amidst the political parties Tipra Motha is the major party who has 164 candidates contested in all 22 VC. IPFT has given 57 candidates in 14 VCs. CPIM is contesting in 6 VCs here in Ampi block VC election.
The National Congress has withdrawn their all 12 candidates from different VCs. General public has stated that after 10 years VC election has been done and they are hopeful that after being completion of the rural administrative management village level development will be appeared.
