Press Conference On ‘Seva Jyoti Kalash Yatra’ In North Tripura.

Dharmanagar, Tripura, 5th of October, 2026 : As part of the month-long ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’, being organised on the occasion of the Prime Minister’s birthday, the ‘Seva Jyoti Kalash Yatra’ is set to be held across Tripura. A press conference regarding the preparations and publicity for the programme in North Tripura district was held at around 12 noon on Sunday (4th October, 2026) at the conference hall of the North Tripura District Magistrate’s office.North Tripura Zilla Parishad Chairperson Aparna Nath, Vice-Chairperson Bhavatosh Das, and North District Nodal Officer Soma Deb were present at the press conference.It was informed that the ‘Seva Jyoti Kalash Yatra’ is an important programme under the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’. Preparations are underway to organise the programme in all eight districts of Tripura. One of the key objectives of the initiative is to ensure that public services, various welfare activities and the government’s development initiatives reach the common people more effectively.


The month-long ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ began across the state on September 17 and will continue until October 17. As part of the campaign, the ‘Seva Jyoti Kalash Yatra’ will be held in North Tripura district on October 7.The programme will be organised at the D.N.V. School ground in Dharmanagar. It was informed at the press conference that six separate processions will be taken out from the six Assembly constituencies of North Tripura district.


Preparatory meetings have already been held with administrative officials to ensure coordinated implementation of the programmes at the district level.Zilla Parishad Chairperson Aparna Nath said that the active participation of people from all sections of society, particularly the youth, would make the ‘Seva Jyoti Kalash Yatra’ more successful and meaningful.Detailed information regarding local preparations, publicity activities and other arrangements for the upcoming programme was also shared at the press conference.
