Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu Attends Grand Ravan Dahan At ONGC.

Agartala, Tripura, 22nd of October, 2026 : With the initiative of ONGC Tripura Asset organized Ravan Dahan at the Kendriya Vidyalaya ground, Badharghat, Agartala, Tripura on Wednesday (21st October, 2026).

Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu attended the ‘Ravana Dahan’ programme. Highlighting the significance of the event, the Governor said that it symbolizes the destruction of evil and the triumph of good. He noted that ‘Ravana Dahan’ conveys a profound message to society, reminding people of the importance of upholding truth, righteousness and moral values while overcoming evil forces and negative influences.

Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu stated that Tripura is progressing rapidly on the path of development. Referring to the growing problem of drug addiction and substance abuse, he said that it is destroying the lives and futures of young people and children. He urged people from all sections of society to come forward and join the fight against drug abuse. Emphasizing the need to build a healthy, safe and drug-free Tripura, he highlighted the importance of widespread public awareness, social responsibility and coordinated efforts.

The Governor stated that inclusive prosperity can be achieved when industries, various organizations, government departments and citizens work together for the welfare of society. He encouraged ONGC to contribute to the state’s development journey and help create greater opportunities for the people of Tripura. He also called upon everyone to work collectively to eradicate social evils, combat drug addiction and build a progressive and prosperous Tripura.
