International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) is observed every year on 3 December. The theme for this year “Transformative solutions for inclusive development : the role of innovation in fueling an accessible and equitable world.”
Hon’ble President of India Droupadi Murmu presented the National Awards for the Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities for their laudable contributions in various fields at Vigyan Bhawan New Delhi on Saturday (3rd December, 2022) on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The National Awards presented for the Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities for 2021 and 2022.
Hon’ble Minister of Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India Dr. Virendra Kumar, Pratima Bhoumik, Hon’ble MP and Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment and other dignitaries were present in the programme.
