Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has inaugurated Sub-Divisional Office, Rural Development Department at Uttar Megh, Haflong, Dharmanagar, North Tripura on Saturday (3rd December, 2022). In the presence of many dignitaries Chief Minister also inaugurated of 30 nos. Market Stall at Haflong, Dharmanagar on today.
“The State Government has taken various steps to empower the women of the state, 33 percent reservation in employment for women. 15 percent salary hike for Anganwadi workers, ASHA workers, the number of self-help groups has increased significantly since the establishment of the present State Government through which women dream of becoming self-reliant”, Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said at the inauguration programme. The Chief Minister said, 39 new stalls have been built in the border area development project in Haflong Bazar. 47 lakh 30 thousand rupees have been spent for this.
The chief minister said on the occasion that the State Government is working to improve the socio-economic standards of the people of the State. In the Social Allowance Scheme, where earlier allowance was given at Rs.700, now it has been increased to Rs. 2000. It has been decided to provide allowance to 30,000 more beneficiaries under the Chief Minister’s Social Assistance Scheme.The State Government has launched a web portal named ‘Amar Sarkar’ thinking about the people, where people can directly express their various problems.
MLA Malina Debnath, Tripura Industrial Development Corporation (TIDC), Chairman Tinku Roy among others spoke on the occasion. Sabhadhipati of North Tripura Zilla Parishad, Bhabatosh Das and other dignitaries were present in the inaugural programme.
