MP Health Camp At Khowai.

MP Health Camp organized at the premises of Khowai New Town Hall under Khowai District on Saturday (29th April, 2023). Specialist doctors from Pediatrics, Neuro cardiology, Heart disease, Gynaecology, Dental, Bone, Skin, Eye, Nose, Ear, Throat and Medicine Departments from renowned hospitals of the country were present in the camp. Along with this, expert doctors of the state also participated in this health camp. Specialist doctors in the camp treated 428 patients and given necessary medicines. Along with this, various types of tests are also done free of cost to the patients.

It may be noted that specialist doctors from Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, Safdarjung Hospital, PGI Hospital and Max Hospital treated the patients in the camp today.

Hon’ble MP and Former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb visited the health camp. During the visit, MP interacted with patients and doctors at the health camp. In the health camp MP said that there has been a huge change in medical services in the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Specialist doctors from reputed hospitals of India are providing medical care in the camp and also providing necessary medicines. In this the local people are getting better medical services very easily.

Among the distinguished participants there were Sabhadhipati of Khowai Zilla Parishad Joydeb Debbarma, Vice Chairperson of Khowai Panchayat Samiti Tapas Das, D.K Chakma DM & Collector Khowai District, Dr. Nirmal Sarkar Chief Medical Officer and many other dignitaries were present in the health camp.
