Assam Rifles under Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) organized ‘Practicing Yoga with Locals’ programme at New Kaiphundai under Tamenglong district in Manipur on 09 Sep 2023.
The aim of the session was to practice and promote numerous kinds of yoga asanas and implement yoga disciplines into daily life. During the session participants performed yoga zealously to excel in correct yoga position and asanas. In addition to the yoga sessions, the event included interaction with civil persons and serving personnel and discussion on meditation, relaxation techniques and the importance of healthy lifestyle.
During the event the attendees were able to learn the techniques & benefits of different yoga asanas which was highly appreciated by locals and force personnel of the battalion. The event was attended by 25 villagers and 15 children.
