“CHWNGSASA” (radiance) initiated by Tripura Rehabilitation Plantation Corporation Ltd (TRPCL), in association with IIT Bhubaneswar’s first start-up KARMA towards green energy and livelihood to bring change in the lives of people of Tripura especially the Indigenous community.
Mission “CHWNGSASA” is a pioneering step towards addressing this challenge while fostering environmental stewardship under the Rehabilitation wing of TRPCL. A Memorandum of Understanding was also executed between TRPCL & IIT in presence of Sh. Sukla Charan Noatia, Minister of Cooperation, Tribal Welfare (TRP & PTG) Government of Tripura.
Chairperson (MoS), TRPCL Ms. Patal Kanya Jamatia expressed her enthusiasm and dedication towards uplifting of the communities while preserving the environment. She mentioned that this initiative will not only improve the lives of tribal population but will also contribute to a greener & sustainable future. She expressed her deep gratitude to the support and commitment of Capt. G.S Rathee for the development of people of Tripura.
Dr. Saroj Nayak, Professor & Dean IIT Bhubaneswar expressed his gratitude towards the enthusiasm of Tripura Government and the TRPCL’s proactive team towards taking new developmental Initiatives and assured support to the corporation in achieving new heights. Officials from TRPCL & IIT Bhubaneswar were also present on this Occasion.
