Shantirbazar, 5th of December 2023 : Due to prevalence of gamblers activities common people are in disturbance in North Hichachara village under Debdaru OP in Shantirbazar. Being informed the police authority a team under the supervision of Bakuljoy Reang, OC of Debdaru OP raided the gambler point and arrested 2 gamblers red handed with cards and cash money. The gamblers were identified as Angakyajai Mog (33) S/O Angsufru Mog of Athai Mog Para and Lathaifru Mog (32) S/O Paisathai Mog of North Hichachara under Baikhora PS in Shantirbazar. Both of them have been arrested under the section of 12-TG Act. Police are searching other addicted persons who are associated with gambling tendency in the area. Sources said that the Debdaru OP police officials are in promptness to prevent like this antisocial activities in the area.
