Agartala, 8th of January 2024 : Legendary Agricultural Scientist, M.S. Swaminathan, Renowned Folk Artist and Padma Shri Awardee Maitya Ram Reang, Renowned Rosem maestro and Padma Shri Awardee Thanga Darlong and Former Minister Sunil Chandra Das was condoled in the 2nd day of Assembly Session on Monday (8th January, 2024). Hon’ble Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Biswa Bandhu Sen paid tributes to their late by highlighting their long political and social activities. He expressed his deepest condolences to their families. After that, the members of the Assembly observed two minute’s silence as a mark of respect to the memory of their deceased.
