Teliamura, 6th of February, 2024 : A person injured as car into roadside ditch in Teliamura. The incident on Monday night at 11:15 pm on the national highway in front of the Municipal Council office, SDPO office premises under Teliamura police station. According to the details of the incident, a car no TR01H 4353 lost control on the way from Ambassa to Kalyanpur and fell into the ditch on the bridge railing. Hearing the loud sound, the local residents rushed.
Afterwards local informed the fire brigade personnel over this occurrence. The fire service personnel arrived on the spot, immediately rescued injured Kajal Chakraborty and the driver Prasenjit Debnath were rescued from the spot and brought them to Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital. The seriously injured person Prasenjit Chakraborty, has been referred to GBP Hospital, Agartala for better treatment. Both of them are said to be in Ambassa, Kulai area. Sources said, this accident happened due to excessive speed. The driving a car at a very high speed when it went out of his control.
