Prodyut Manikya Kishore Deb Barma Left For Delhi Mid Hunger Strike After Centre’s Call.

Agartala, 28th of February 2024 : According to the previous announcement, Prodyut Manikya Kishore Deb Barma started his hunger strike demanding a constitutional solution on Hatai Kotor (Baramura Hill) from Wednesday (28th February, 2024) morning. During his speech, leader of the opposition and MLA of TIPRA, Animesh Debbarma, passed a phone call to Prodyut Manikya Kishore Deb Barma on stage.  Prodyut Manikya received a call from Delhi while on hunger strike with a large number of party workers. Prodyut Manikya Kishore Deb Barma left for Delhi in the middle of his hunger strike. But the party workers of Tipraha Indigenous Progressive Regional Alliance (TIPRA) Motha Party activists continued their hunger strike.

Due to this hunger strike, the national highway in Hatai Kotor was completely jammed. A traffic jam occurs when the traffic is completely stopped on the road. Prodyut Manikya Kishore Deb Barma is on hunger strike demanding constitutional solution. Many meetings have been held in Delhi even before this programme. But due to no work, Prodyut sat on hunger strike today. Maybe the call came from Delhi after seeing this hunger strike. Now the meeting will continue in Delhi.
