Khowai, 7th of March, 2024 : With the initiative of Jay Hind Shakti Kendra, Eight Side Night Cricket Tournament was started at Chebri English Medium High School ground, Khowai on Friday (23rd February, 2024).
Surya Tarun Sangh vs Chebri Play Center match was held final match on Thursday (7th March, 2024). Chebri Play Center batted first and collected 51 runs. Surya Tarun Sangh target is 52 runs. Surya Tarun Sangh was bowled out for 36 runs. Chebri Play Center won by 15 runs. There is Ten thousand (10,000) rupees as the first prize. Five thousand (5,000) for runners. There was a huge audience in this final match.
Amidst the other distinguished participants there were MLA Pinaki Das Chowdhury, Mandal General Secretary Asim Deb Roy and Chayan Roy, Coordinator of Jay Hind Shakti Kendra Asit Roy, Pradhan of Paschim Chebri Gram Panchayat Shripad Shil, and Sanjay Roy who conducted the game and other dignitaries were present in the final match.
