Manipur, 2nd of May, 2024 : Assam Rifles conducted a joint combing operation alongwith Manipur Police in fringe areas of Jiribam district of Manipur on 01 May 2024 and dismantled 12 bunkers, recovered cache of war like stores which includes 6 single barrel rifles, 108 live rounds, 4 communication equipments and 6 bullet proof jackets.
Such a large scale recovery of weapons and equipments have not only curbed the future plans of miscreants but also reinforced the commitment of the security forces in maintaining the law and order in the area.
