Agartala, 20th of June, 2024 : CPI(M) Wing Students Federation of India (SFI) and Tribal Students Union (TSU) Tripura State Committee activists visited Govind Ballabh Pant (GBP) hospital to enquire about the health of the students on Thursday (20th June, 2024). The incident surfaced after girl students from the Maharaja Bir Bikram Welfare Society hostel began vomiting and abdominal pain after arriving at the school. As per the reports, more than 12 students were hospitalised after a sudden wave of illness due to alleged food poisoning swept through Bodhjung Girls High Secondary School on Thursday morning. Afterwards, the students were rushed to hospital. They are undergoing treatment at G.B. hospital.
