Agartala, Tripura, 9th of August, 2024 : In an effort to crush down the network of drug peddlers and to prevent the smuggling of narcotics at the Tripura border, the Border Security Force (BSF) has initiated a special drive on the Indo-Bangladesh border.
Acting on specific information on August 09, 2024, BSF Patrolling Party apprehended 01 Indian national and recovered 1000 Yaba tablets worth Rs 5 Lacs from his possession in area of BOP Bamutia under District West Tripura .
BSF is committed to eradicate the menace of Drugs and dismantle the network of drug mafias operating in Tripura .
