Agartala, Tripura, 4th of September, 2024 : The Tripura Legislative Assembly today (4th September, 2024) expressed deep grief over the death of 31 people in floods due to heavy rains in the State recently and the loss of over 400 lives due to heavy rains and landslides in Kerala’s Waned district. Hon’ble Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Biswa Bandhu Sen read condolence messages separately on the two incidents. After that, the members of the Assembly observed two minute’s silence as a mark of respect to the memory of the victims.
