Agartala, Tripura, 23rd of February, 2025 : On specific input of The Government Railway Police (GRP), Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Border Security Force (BSF) based on secret operation was launched in the Agartala Railway Station on Sunday (23rd February, 2025). According to the GRP police, during checking of passengers at Agartala Railway Station, recovered 04 Bags Containing with 22 Packets of Suspected to be dry Ganja wrapped with brown colour cello tape from Near Lavatory Of Coach No-B-3 attached With T/ No- 13174 Dn Kanchanjanga Express at Agartala Railway Station On Platform No-01 as unclaimed and Weight -27 Kg Dry Ganja(cannabis).
After that seized it after observing all legal formalities Us-106 Bnss-2023, as unclaimed. Agartala GRP Police has started an investigation as to who could be the owner of these illegal Ganja. Destination market value of the seized Ganja Approx two lakh seventy thousands only.
