Amarpur, Tripura, 5th of March 2025 : With the initiative of NTFP Cente of Excellence, Gandhigram, Agartala a 3 day long skill development training over broom making for SHG /JFMC beneficiaries has been initiated here in CCF Centre, Machmara RMU in Unakoti Tripura. In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries R.O Sujit Chakma of Machmara RMU has inaugurated the training programme.
As per report from Sisuram Mahajan, training & capacity building officer, a large number of SHG & JFMC beneficiaries are availing various processing techniques over broom project through this motivational training programme. How to plant fuljharu and make them grow and after being matured fuljharu how to collect and make them perfect broom for utility through several processes are being teaching to the beneficiaries in this training programme. A good enthusiasm has been found amidst the SHG & JFMC beneficiaries in the training session.
Amidst the other participants of the programme there were Dilip Debbarma, beat officer, Pabitra Reang, president of Panbagan JFMC, Betharai Reang, social activist, all SCATFORM project staff of Machmara RMU and forest personnel remained present in this inspiring training programme.
