Agartala, Tripura, 28th of June, 2025 : The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) celebrated the Ratha Yatra festival at Agartala, Tripura on Friday (27th June, 2025). The Ratha Yatra, also known as the Chariot Celebration of Lord Jagannath, Devi Subhadra, and Lord Balabhadra, is the most prominent Hindu festival. On this auspicious occasion, in the presence of many dignitaries Hon’ble food, civil supplies & consumer affairs, transport and tourism minister Sushanta Chowdhury was inaugurated the Ratha Yatra festival.
Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were Hon’ble Youth Affairs & Sports, Social Welfare & Social Education, Labour Minister Tinku Roy, Hon’ble MP and Tripura Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Rajib Bhattacharjee, Hon’ble Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) and MLA Dipak Majumder, Hon’ble Deputy Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) Manika Das Datta, Chairman of TIDC Nabadal Banik and many other dignitaries were present in the Ratha Yatra festival.
