Agartala, Tripura, 6th of July, 2025 : With the initiative of the Agartala Government Medical College & Govind Ballabh Pant Hospital a free medical health camp has been organized in collaboration with the CMO North, Brajendranagar PHC and ATGDA at Ranibari Tea Estates, North Tripura on Sunday (6th July, 2025).
A team of Specialist Doctors from Agartala Government Medical College rendered their services in the camp, comprising of 2 Medicine Specialists, 1 each of Obstetrician & Gynecologist, Surgeon, Pediatrics (Child Specialist), Orthopedics, ENT and Eye Specialist. Along with Doctors from nearby hospitals also provided their services in the said Camp.
According to report, a total of 575 persons received medical services and necessary advice in this camp. Among them speciality wise services provided- Medicine Dept: 267, Orthopedics : 62, Obstetrics & Gynecology : 60, Pediatrics / Child: 52, ENT: 52, Surgery Dept: 41, Eye: 41. A compact and free of cost diagnostic services were provided was also provided in the camp to the people: HIV Screenings test: 150, Hepatitis B Test: 150, VDRL Test: 150, Blood Sugar Test: 170, Hemoglobin Test: 170, Portable Chest X Ray : 51, Sputum Sample Collected: 13, ECG : 22, Vision and Cataract screenings test: 40, Cataract Detected: 10, Free Spectacle Provided: 8.
Locals has been found happy to have free treatment facility here and appreciated the Government Medical College & Govind Ballabh Pant Hospital for their good job.
