Amarpur, Tripura, 18th of July 2025 : With the initiative of the superintendent of Ompi Agri. Subdivision & DDA, Gomati, department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare an awareness programme on role of soil health in crop productivity has been conducted here in Ampinagar Community Hall in Gomati Tripura today. On this occasion a large number of local farmers, men & women have assembled here in the programme.Targeting to promote agricultural productivity widespread ahead the concerned departmental resource persons have interacted face to face with the local farmers and generated all kinds of awarenesses over soil test, soil preparation, seeds processing, suitable farming process, pesticides and advanced farming and harvesting techniques. To accelerate agricultural production and gain more profit the agriculture authority discussed over modern farming methods to motivate them.
Under the supervision of Ompi Agri. subdivision SA Nibash Debbarma cultivators were provided soil health card. The Kishan Morcha president Ashim Kalai has advised local farmers to stay in touch with the agriculture officials and attain different kinds of departmental amenities. Amidst the other distinguished dignitaries there were Debasish Saha, assistant director, Nabanita Das, BTM, Sukumar Shill, Kishan Morcha district vice president and many others remained present in the programme.
