Agartala, Tripura, 22nd of July 2025 : Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha chaired a meeting with Secretaries, Directors of various departments, District Magistrates and Superintendents of Police to review the Task Monitoring System(TMS) at Secretariat, Agartala on Tuesday (22nd July, 2025).

In the meeting, the Chief Minister discussed various issues including the law and order situation in the state, various developmental works of the Public Works Department, health system, development of educational infrastructure, electricity and traffic congestion in Agartala city. In the meeting, the Chief Minister suggested taking initiatives like using drones to identify areas of cannabis cultivation and creating a positive attitude towards the security administration among the common people.

According to sources, the Chief Minister directed the concerned department to consider whether it is possible to issue essential instructions like garages to car owners to prevent traffic congestion in Agartala city. The Chief Minister asked the Health Department to take initiatives to keep the oxygen plant and ventilator system operational. He also added that the development plans of the State in the coming days will be based on the issues raised in the task monitoring system. Appreciating the task monitoring system, the Chief Minister urged the departments to work more intensively to resolve the problems of the citizens.
