Agartala, Tripura, 5th of August, 2025 : Shri Haribhan Singh, a distinguished member of the National Level Monitoring (NLM) team, visited RUDSETI Agartala as part of an official review of ongoing skill development training programmes on Tuesday (5th August, 2025). The visit aimed to assess the effectiveness, outreach and impact of the institute’s initiatives in empowering rural youth through vocational training.
During the visit, Shri Singh interacted with trainees, faculty members, and staff, gaining firsthand insights into the implementation of various training modules, infrastructure facilities and support mechanisms provided to the candidates. He appreciated the efforts of the institute in promoting self-employment and livelihood generation, especially among women and underprivileged sections.
The monitoring team also reviewed records, training progress and post-training support services like credit linkage and handholding. Shri Singh expressed satisfaction over the quality of training and emphasized the importance of continuous follow-up to ensure sustainable outcomes for the beneficiaries.
RUDSETI Agartala, jointly sponsored by Canara Bank, and Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Educational Trust( SDME), has been a key player in rural skill development in Tripura. The institute reiterated its commitment to contributing to the national mission of skill development and self-reliance.
