Khowai, Tripura, 3rd of September, 2025 : With the initiative of Khowai Police Station organized Workshop-Cum-Awareness programme on Fight Against Drug at Khowai Government English Medium Class H.S School, Khowai on Wednesday (3rd September, 2025). The initiative aimed to educate and empower young minds to stand against the growing menace of drug addiction. The global drug problem presents a multifaceted challenge that touches the lives of millions worldwide. From individuals struggling with substance use disorders to communities grappling with the consequences of drug trafficking and organized crime, the impact of drugs is far-reaching and complex. Police making optimum efforts to maintain a drug free society.
Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were Ranaditya Das, Superintendent of Police, Khowai, OC of Khowai Police Station Krishna Dhan Sarkar, District Health Officer Dr. Padmaram Jamatia, Doctor Manait Debnath, Acting Principal of English Medium School Kapi Bhattacharjee, Senior Police officers, students and many other distinguished dignitaries were present in this Workshop-Cum-Awareness Programme.
