Agartala, Tripura, 8th of November, 2025 : With the initiative of West Tripura District Administration and West Tripura Zilla Parishad a commemorative program celebrating the 150th anniversary of “Vande Mataram” was organized at Muktadhara Auditorium, Agartala, Tripura on Friday (7th November, 2025). In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Hon’ble Power, Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare Minister Ratan Lal Nath inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp.
Addressing at the celebration of 150th Anniversary of India’s National Song ‘Vande Mataram’ Hon’ble Power, Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare Minister Ratan Lal Nath said that the main objective of celebrating the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram is to pay tribute to those who sacrificed their lives for the country’s independence and to inspire a sense of patriotism among the younger generation. He emphasized that the dignity and legacy of Vande Mataram must be carried forward and passed on to future generations.
Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were Hon’ble MP and Tripura Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Rajib Bhattacharjee, West Tripura Zilla Saha-Sabhadipati Biswajit Shil, District Magistrate and Collector of Dr. Vishal Kumar and many other distinguished dignitaries were present at the event.
