Dhalai, Tripura, 8th of November, 2025 : Dhalai District Level commemorated 150 years of India’s National Song Vande Mataram programme at Ambassa Town on Friday (7th November, 2025). In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp.
Addressing at the celebration of 150th Anniversary of India’s National Song ‘Vande Mataram’ Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu said that Vande Mataram played a significant role in uniting Indians against British rule during the freedom movement. Through this song, the strength, prosperity, and purity of India are expressed. The song guides us forward, serves as a source of strength, and reflects our respect for Mother India. The Governor called upon everyone to celebrate this occasion in a way that inspires future generations with the spirit of patriotism.
Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were Hon’ble SC Welfare, ARD, Fisheries Minister Sudhangshu Das, Dhalai Zilla Parishad Sabhadipati Sushmita Das, MLAs Swapna Das Paul and Chittaranjan Debbarma, District Magistrate & Collector of Dhalai district Vivek H B, and other prominent personalities as distinguished guests were present in the event. Governor, others participants listened to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address marking the occasion.
