Agartala, Tripura, 19th of July 2025 : On Saturday (19th July, 2025) morning, a group of miscreants snatched ‘Pratibadi Kalam’ newspaper from the Belonia bus stand under South Tripura District. The Agartala Press Club has strongly protested and condemned this incident. The Editor of the ‘Pratibadi Kalam’, Anal Roy Chowdhury, has filed a case with the West Agartala Police Station. The Agartala Press Club is demanding that the police administration investigate the incident as soon as possible and take strict action against the miscreants. The Agartala Press Club is demanding that the State Government take necessary steps to prevent attacks on journalists and the media.
