Bangalore, Karnataka, 17th of October, 2026 : A-One Group, India’s diversified player with interests in green steel and the defence sector, hosted a high-level delegation of Czech government officials and business representatives in Bengaluru on 14 October 2026. The delegation was led by H.E. Karel Havlíček, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. The visit marked an important step towards fostering bilateral industrial collaboration, technological exchange, and joint research and development in the defence and aerospace sectors.
During the occasion, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) was signed between members of the Czech delegation and A-One Group directors Mr. Sunil (Jullian) Jallan, Mr. Sandeep Kumar, and Mr. Devaaryan Jallan, for advanced joint research and development trials, technology collaboration, and production in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), electronic components, and UAV management systems. The collaboration aims to synergise the technological and industrial capabilities between both nations to develop indigenous solutions and scale up advanced technologies.

Commenting on the collaboration, Mr Sunil (Jullian) Jallan, Co-Founder and Chairman, A–One Group, said, “We are excited to share the signing of these MoUs with our partners from the Czech Republic, as it marks an important milestone in A-One Group’s efforts to build international partnerships, strengthen indigenous research and manufacturing, and contribute to India’s defence and aerospace ecosystem. The Czech Republic brings deep expertise in advanced engineering and defence technologies, while India offers scale, manufacturing capabilities and a growing domestic ecosystem. By combining these strengths, we see significant potential to develop solutions that are relevant to India and have the potential to serve global markets.”
Building on this industrial foundation, A-One Defence and Aerospace Private Limited was established in 2025 to develop defence and aerospace manufacturing capabilities. The company holds regulatory licences for artillery shells and drones and is pursuing research and development initiatives in UAVs, electronic components, and robotics, with an emphasis on advancing indigenous technological capabilities.
As part of its planned manufacturing roadmap, the company is targeting an annual production capacity of 400,000 units of 155 mm artillery shells, with production trials scheduled to commence in April 2027, subject to applicable regulatory, technical, and operational requirements.

“India’s defence and aerospace sector is at an inflection point, with the country fast emerging as a credible global manufacturing and technology hub. For A-One Group, our entry into defence and aerospace builds on our established strengths in industrial manufacturing, engineering and materials, while allowing us to participate in a sector where technology, scale and localisation will be critical. Through A-One Defence and Aerospace, we are focused on building capabilities across UAVs, electronic components, robotics and defence manufacturing, with an emphasis on indigenous R&D and scalable production,” Jallan concluded.
