Mumbai, Maharashtra, 10th of May 2026 : While the world celebrates the love, sacrifice, and compassion of mothers on Mother’s Day, MIAM Charitable Trust founder Neetu Joshi has demonstrated that motherhood is not limited to family bonds alone, but extends to every individual in need through compassion and service. From providing employment opportunities to tribal women and protecting the environment to supporting medical treatments, food distribution, and animal welfare, her initiatives are becoming a true example of humanity in action.

On the occasion of Mother’s Day, MIAM Trust’s initiative titled “Commitment to Greenery – With Nature and Progress” has drawn special attention. In collaboration with Surjagud Ispat Private Limited, a large-scale nursery project is being developed in Gadchiroli across nearly 25 acres, with the capacity to cultivate around 500,000 plants. The initiative has already created employment opportunities for more than 200 rural and tribal women, bringing new hope and dignity to their lives.
Women associated with the project are being trained in seed plantation, plant care, compost preparation, and nursery management, helping them become financially independent and self-reliant. The initiative is not only contributing to environmental conservation but is also strengthening rural livelihoods in the region.

Established in 2020, MIAM Charitable Trust has consistently worked in the areas of healthcare, women empowerment, rural development, and humanitarian services. According to Neetu Joshi, trees do not merely create greenery; they safeguard the future of coming generations. This vision has now become a source of respect, employment, and a better quality of life for hundreds of families in Gadchiroli.
