Khowai, 17th of June, 2024 : A woman was murdered in Gournagar Jhara slum area under Khowai Police Station. According to the details of the incident, Parimal Jhara killed his wife Ramala Jhara (40) by drowning her in a pond near the house and beating her to death in Gournagar slum around 7 pm yesterday. After killing him, he hid his wife in Parimal’s father’s house. And in the early morning Parimal’s wife was taken to Parimal’s house and she died of intoxication trying to tell the locals. The locals saw everything and informed the Khowai police station. Afterwards Officers from Khowai police station arrived and arrested Parimal Jhara. A sensation has been created in Jhara slum on this incident.
