Agartala, Tripura, 26th of April 2025 : Again, On specific information regarding Infiltration of five probing illegal human trafficking) were arrested from Agartala Railway Station on Saturday (26th April, 2025) evening. Agartala GRPS, RPF, BSF and the Intelligence Division jointly conducted this operation.
According to the information received, Agartala GRP police arrested a total of five human traffickers from Kathalia Mura, Urmai, Majidabari, and Birampur areas on charges of being involved in two cases.
A team of officers from GRP Police Station is interrogating them in phases at Agartala GRP Police Station and it is estimated that many more may be arrested in this case, so far the police team estimates that more information may come out of them.
According to GRP the names of the arrested person five (1) Jalil Mia (41) Dhanpur, Majida Bari, PS –Sonamura, Sepahijala Tripura. (2) Md. Hasaan (31), Dhanpur Majida Bari PS – Sonamura, Sepahijala , Tripura. 3) Monir Hossain (34), Jasimuddin (36) abd 5) Alamgir Hossain (37). A case has been registered at Agartala GRP police station in this regard and they will be sent to the Court today Officer In-Charge of Agartala GRP Tapas Das gave details about this today.
