Agartala, Tripura, 30th of June, 2025 : With the initiative of Agartala Press Club organized Tree Plantation programs at Agartala Press Club premises on Monday (30th June, 2025). In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Eminent Journalist and Chief Editor of Syandan Patrika & Syandan TV Subal Kumar Dey inaugurated a tree plantation programme by planting a sapling.
The members of Agartala Press Club try to spread the message of environmental protection through various media throughout the year. They give importance to environmental awareness programs, from tree planting programs organized by Government and private initiatives. With that message of environmental protection, senior members of Agartala Press Club, management committee and journalists planted trees. The management committee of Agartala Press Club congratulated all those who participated in this program.
Amidst the present dignitaries there were President of Agartala Press Club Pranab Sarkar, Vice President of Agartala Press Club Chitra Roy, Secretary of Agartala Press Club Ramakanta Dey, former President of Agartala Press Club Jayanta Bhattacharjee, Executive Member Mihir Lal Sarkar, other members of Agartala Press Club and journalists were participated in a tree plantation drive and planted sapling.
