Agartala, Tripura, 13th of June, 2026 : With the initiative of Agartala Press Club Felicitation Ceremony of Madhyamik & Higher Secondary Examination 2026 students of the journalists families in Agartala has organized at Agartala Press Club, Tripura on Saturday (13th June, 2026). In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Hon’ble Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) and MLA Dipak Majumder inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp.
The initiative was undertaken by the Agartala Press Club to honour the achievements of students from families associated with the challenging and responsible profession of journalism. During the programme, the distinguished guests felicitated the meritorious students by presenting them with the Agartala Press Club’s ceremonial scarves, mementoes, and tokens of appreciation.
Addressing at the felicitation ceremony Hon’ble Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) and MLA Dipak Majumder urged the students to continue their studies with dedication and contribute meaningfully to the development of both the State and the nation in the future. Secretary of Agartala Press Club Ramakanta Dey delivered a welcome address at felicitation ceremony.
Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were President of Agartala Press Club Pranab Sarkar, Vice President of Agartala Press Club Chitra Roy, Secretary of Agartala Press Club Ramakanta Dey, Joint Secretaries of the Agartala Press Club Kamal Chowdhury and Abhishek Dey, Treasurer Ranjan Roy, Executive Member Abhishek Debbarma, Mihir Lal Sarkar, other members of Agartala Press Club and journalists were present at the felicitation ceremony.
