Agartala, 11th of March 2024 : With the initiative of Agartala Press Club the Annual Sports Competition is going to be held March, 17, 2024 on the occasion of 40th anniversary.
This annual sports competition will be held at the Kshudiram Basu English Medium School ground to the old jail premises with the financial support of Tripura Gramin Bank. Satyendra Singh, Chairman of Tripura Gramin Bank will inaugurate the competition at 9.30 am, Alok Ghosh, Chairman of Sports Sub Committee and Jayanta Bhattacharjee, President of Agartala Press Club will also be present.
All journalists including members of Agartala Press Club and their families can participate in the competition. The annual sports competition for children on Sunday includes sprint, skipping, shuttle run, spoon race, target the ball etc. There are many games for adults likes Musical Balls, Put on bindi etc. Each game has attractive prizes. All those who want to participate in the competition, next 17 March 2024, Sunday morning should report at Kshudiram Basu English Medium School ground by 9 am.
The Agartala Press Club informed through a press conference. Jayanta Bhattacharjee, President of Agartala Press Club, Alok Ghosh, Chairman of Sports Sub Committee, Agartala Press Club Sports Committee convener Abhishek Dey, Senior journalist Suprabhat Debnath were present in the press conference .
