Ampi, Tripura, 30th of November 2024 : With the initiative of Ampi Nagar RD block World Toilet Day 2024 has been conducted here in Ampi Nagar town hall in Gomati Tripura today. Following the motto, ‘Hamara Sauchalay Hamara Samman’ Ampi Nagar block authority generated awareness amidst local people over sanitation and provided good tips to the participants present in the programme.
Addressing the gathering Ampi Nagar BDO Ruatfela Darlong said, “We must maintain neat and clean atmosphere around our surrounding; Sanitary latrine and bathroom as well as garbage free houses and habitations are always health protective. To keep our children healthy we must follow civilized living procedure.” He has instructed all villagers to dispose sanitary latrine as the central government is providing it then create a healthy living style managing proper sanitation at home. Many indigenous and non indigenous people of the locality have taken participation in this W.T.D celebration and gained good tips.
Amidst the other participants there were 23 Ampi Nagar constituency MDC Sadagar Kalai, Ampi BAC chairman Sindhu Chandra Jamatia and many others remained present in this motivational programme.
