Amarpur, Tripura, 8th of March 2026 : With the initiative of Ampi block CPI(M) organization a electoral mass gathering programme has been conducted here in Ampi Nagar market premises today. On this occasion a large number of CPI(M) leaders, activists and supporters from different VCs of the block have assembled here in the programme venue. The Polit Bureau member Sri Jiten Choudhury has graced the event and addressed the gathering to motivate the local indigenous and non indigenous people of the event.

To inspire the programme participants he has said, “The present saffron administration is not favourable at all for the poor and deprived section. After the BJP administration initiation miscellaneous disadvantageous circumstances have appeared for the poor and needy people of the state which have created constant suffering for all. In government employment sector, it is out of reach for the poor. The 10323 teachers’s families have been demolished; no initiative, no sympathy or consideration but the showcase of cruelty was prevailed. With the termination of the communist administration humanitarian attitude had been submerged for ever. We have to restore philanthropy, peace, harmony and prosperity for the people of Tripura again.” He has convened all community people to be united with the idealism of Marxism and generate better democratic administration in the state of Tripura.

Amidst the other distinguished participants there were Naresh Jamatia, former minister, Daniel Jamatia, Ex. MLA, Sankar Chakraborty, subdivisional committee member, Parikshit Kalai, state committee member, Parimal Debnarh, district secretary, Srikanta Deb, local secretary, Mira Choudhury, district committee member and many other remained present in the programme.
